Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Launches Faster, Easier Online Reporting for Residents

The Ottawa Police Service has upgraded its online system to make reporting non‑emergency incidents faster, easier, and available in more than 20 languages. Residents can now report things like property theft, vandalism, driving complaints, and even cryptocurrency fraud, directly from a computer or mobile device—anytime, 24/7. The improved system lets users upload photos, videos, and files, and provides a recovery link so reports can be completed within 30 days. Each report helps OPS better understand community concerns and ensures frontline officers can focus on urgent calls.
