Public Consultation Closed
The City’s online consultation for the proposed Vernon Pump Track closed on July 24, 2026. Thank you to everyone who reviewed the two design approaches and shared their feedback.
The “What We Heard” Summary is available via link above.
The City is continuing the design process in 2026. The project timeline currently identifies construction in 2027. The final design may differ from the concepts presented during consultation depending on the feedback received, technical feasibility, available budget and supply considerations.
I will share another update when the City finalizes the preferred design.

Have your say!
The City’s Engage Ottawa page is now live for the proposed Vernon Pump Track at the Vernon Recreation Centre.
The project is looking at two possible design approaches: a modular pump track and a more naturalized bicycle park-style track. This is an exciting opportunity to add a new amenity for children, youth and families in Vernon, and your feedback will help shape the final design.
The online survey is open until July 24, 2026: Vernon Pump Track | Engage Ottawa
The project boards will also be on site during the Vernon Canada Day celebration, so please take a look, share your thoughts, and encourage your neighbours to do the same.
Your input matters – let’s help shape this project together!
