With a career rooted in public service, Isabelle has spent most of her career supporting government—modernizing policies, improving frontline services, and advising on national priorities—before bringing that experience home to serve the residents of Osgoode Ward. She holds a Bachelors of Public Affairs & Policy Management from Carleton University and now serves as City Councillor, sitting on several committees including the Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee (ARAC), Public Works & Infrastructure Committee (PWIC), Emergency Preparedness & Protective Services Committee, Service Review Working Group, South Nation Conservation and the Osgoode Care Centre Board. Beyond her professional work, she is deeply committed to community life, having led the Greely Community Association, supported local service projects through the Greely Lions Club, and devoted over a decade to mentoring youth with Scouts Canada and other volunteer organizations. At home, she is a proud wife and mother of four who enjoys the simple joys of rural living, from gardening and exploring the outdoors to visiting farmers markets and taking in local theatre. And when the day winds down, she slows life to a gentle pace by picking up her crochet hook, creating something simple and handmade for the people she loves.
As the Community Liaison for the Councillor’s Office, Ivana plays a key role in connecting residents and community groups with City services while supporting the unique needs of our rural communities. She enjoys engaging directly with residents, listening to their concerns, and helping ensure their voices are heard, whether through community outreach or day-to-day correspondence.
Ivana holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Toronto Metropolitan University and brings valuable public-sector experience from her administrative work with the Ontario Ministry of Health. Born and raised in Toronto, she relocated to Ottawa several years ago and has since embraced rural life in Greely, the strong sense of community it offers, and the opportunity to serve residents in a meaningful way. Of Croatian heritage, she has long valued community involvement, including volunteering on parent school councils in both Toronto and Ottawa.
Outside the office, Ivana enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their tiny but mighty dog. She loves to read, travel, and cook a good meal, and believes that the best conversations often happen around the kitchen table.
Rosa has proudly served the City for nearly a decade and currently works as Executive Assistant to the Councillor, where she manages scheduling and keeps a close eye on the ward’s constituency budget. She enjoys working in municipal politics, where people have a real opportunity to make a direct impact on their city and their lives.
Born in Portugal and raised in Montreal, Rosa has called Ottawa home for over 30 years.
Fluent in English, French, and Portuguese, she can also communicate in Spanish and is currently learning Italian. Her academic background includes degrees in English Literature and Art History, fueling a lifelong passion for art and reading.
Outside of work, Rosa is a devoted mom to two sons and a dog. Raised as a city girl, she is now embracing the rural landscape, where her love of animals feels like a natural fit. In her free time, Rosa enjoys a good political discussion, trivia, and traveling.
As the Case Manager in the Councillor’s office, Julie works closely with residents to help them navigate City services, address their concerns, and ensure that every voice in the community is heard and valued. She holds a degree in Social Work, and her path to this role has been shaped by years of experience in social work, community initiatives, and administrative leadership. Over time, she has developed a strong passion for empowering individuals to find solutions and feel genuinely supported. Joining the Councillor’s team has given her the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.
Julie calls Carlsbad Springs home and feels a deep connection to the people and the vibrant spaces that define the community. She loves the outdoors and enjoys ATVing, fishing, exploring local parks with her husband and son, tending to her vegetable garden, and volunteering with the Optimist Club. These activities keep her grounded while strengthening her ties to the residents she serves.
For Julie, the most rewarding aspect of her work is seeing the power of collaboration in action. When residents, City staff, and community partners come together, real and lasting change happens. Being part of that process inspires her ongoing commitment to fostering a stronger, more connected community.
Max brings deep regulatory and public-sector experience to the Councillor’s office, where he supports local policy and constituent services in Osgoode Ward. A federal public servant for nearly a decade, he later helped launch the award-winning cannabis company Hydropothecary (now HEXO) in 2014. As VP of Regulatory Affairs, he led national compliance, managed all mergers and acquisitions as part of the legal team, launched a joint venture with Molson Coors, and oversaw operations across Canada until the company’s acquisition in 2023.
Born and raised in Orléans, Max is Franco-Ontarian and brings strong local roots along with a clear understanding of the communities he now serves. Outside of work, he is a devoted father, canoe-camper and skier, a regular on the music festival circuit, and a fan of Ottawa’s ever-evolving food scene. What drives him most is helping people, supporting a passionate councillor, and turning community concerns into meaningful change.
